Overview

In Business Information Management II (BIM II), students will apply technical skills to address business applications of emerging technologies, create complex word-processing documents, develop sophisticated spreadsheets using charts and graphs, and make an electronic presentation using appropriate multimedia software. Students will also complete a career unit in which they will investigate different careers of interest, learn how to fill out job applications, create resumes and cover letters, and interviewing techniques.  Students will also participate in creating and running a mock business within the school.

Prerequisite:  Business Information Management I (BIM I)

Supplies needed:

Three ring notebook

Package of dividers (5)

Pencils and pens

Notebook paper or spiral

Red pen

Earbuds or headphones

Package of printable sheet business cards

Flash drive (to be left in classroom)
